Summary: Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy virtually launched ‘Jagananna Jeeva Kranthi’ scheme, under which 2.49 lakh units of sheep and goats will be distributed to women in a phased manner at a cost of ₹1,869 crore. Under the scheme, women belonging to the Backward Classes, the Scheduled Castes (SCs), and the Scheduled Tribes (STs) in the age group of 45-60 years would get 2.49 lakh sheep and goat units. Each unit consists of 15 sheep or goats (with one ram or billy) in each unit.

AP Jagananna Jeeva Kranthi Pathakam Online Registration Process
Jagananna Jeeva Kranti: Jagan Sarkar, who has been implementing several welfare schemes since coming to power, will launch another new scheme. Sheep and goat units will be distributed through this scheme which will be implemented under the name of Jagananna Jeeva Kranthi.
Implementation Procedure Of Jagananna Jeeva Kranthi Scheme
The first installment is 20,000 units till March 2021, the second installment is 130,000 units from April to August 2021 and the third installment is 99,000 units from September to December 2021. The AP government has decided to implement the scheme in three installments.

Step 1- Visit the Official Website of Jagananna Jeeva Kranthi Scheme i.e. https://navasakam.ap.gov.in/.

|Jagananna Jeeva Kranthi Scheme 2021: Online Application Form PDF Download – Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, on Thursday, virtually launched the ‘Jagananna Jeeva Kranthi’ scheme. Under the ‘Jagananna Jeeva Kranthi’ scheme, the CM will distribute 2.49 lakh sheep and goat units in three phases. These will be provided to women belonging to BC, SC, ST and minority communities between the ages of 45 and 60 through Farmer Assurance Centers with government financial assistance.
The scheme aims at improving the living standards of women with less investment. By promoting the agricultural allied sectors, more economic development would take place and eventually benefit farmers.
Beneficiaries can purchase any species of sheep-like Nellore Brown, Jodipi, Macharla Brown, Vizianagaram breeds, Black Bengal in goats, or native breeds. Only one unit is distributed to each beneficiary. The AP government has entered into an agreement with Allana Foods for this purpose. Arranging to supply quality, processed meat.
The government had also launched the distribution of 4.69 lakh units of cows and buffaloes with Rs 3500 crore to strengthen the dairy sector, taking to a total of Rs 5400 crore.
Species Of Sheep
The concerned authorities of the Andhra Pradesh Government will provide the following species of sheep in this opportunity;-
As part of the Jagananna Jeeva Kranthi, 20,000 units will be distributed in the first phase till March 2021. In the second phase from April to August 2021, 1,30,000 units will be distributed, and in the third phase from September to December 2021, another 99,000 units will be distributed. Training centers for sheep breeding will be set up in Dhone of Kurnool district and Penugonda of Anantapur district.
